Country Living

suggests some craft ideas like:

Ribbon Lampshade

Add a fun stripe pattern to a lampshade with different shades of ribbon. Cut 3/4"-wide grosgrain ribbon in lengths equal to height of shade plus 1/2". Hot glue to shade, overlapping pieces and allowing 1/2" to hang below the bottom edge. Turn under loose pieces; hot glue to underside. Cut a piece of grosgrain the length of the perimeter of the top of the shade. Fold lengthwise; press. Hot glue to top of shade, positioning fold on wire frame.

Ribbon Tablecloth

Weave ribbons in your favorite colors over a solid fabric background to create an unexpected and inspiring tablecloth. http://www.countryliving.com/crafts/easy-spring-crafts-0309

Better Homes and Gardens

has great holiday ideas such as:

Menorah Pillow

It's easy to make this special holiday pillow when you start with a purchased pillow. All you do is add ribbon with fabric glue. http://www.bhg.com/talk-to-us/menorah-pillow/
